Her experience across endurance sport, strength-based training and equestrian competition gives her a unique understanding of how different disciplines stress the body in different ways — from repetitive load in running and cycling to the complex postural and control demands of equestrian sport.
This lived experience enhances her ability to understand training demands, performance goals and the psychological challenges that can accompany injury.
Supporting Musicians & Performing Artists
Amy is also an accomplished violinist and has performed in amateur orchestras and ensembles. Her appreciation for the physical demands placed on musicians has led to a growing interest in supporting performing artists.
In 2025, Amy will be involved in looking after members of the WA Symphony Orchestra, assisting with injury management, load tolerance and performance resilience.
Musicians often experience:
-
Neck and upper back pain
-
Shoulder overload injuries
-
Postural strain
-

Amy’s combined understanding of performance, biomechanics and the physical demands of music places her in an excellent position to support orchestral musicians and performing artists in Perth.
